Disadvantages of the
Roof Dormer Vent/Eyebrow Vent:
- Dormer vent should have the top of vent along the back parallel with level ground floor (much harder to install).
- Large face opening for such a small Net Free Vent Area
- Paint will fade or peel - maintenance problem on a 504 R. Roof
- Water & snow can blow in like end gable vent
- Too much cutting around to install vent
- Galvanizes & spot welds will rust and fall apart
- No skylights in unit
- Old fashioned curb appeal
