AVP manufactures all of its products. We do not sell refurbished or used units. We offer pre-sales advice and recommendations, however, it is ultimately up to the customer to determine which type of product, its size and distinguishing features (such as collars etc.) would be best for their home or building. We do not offer a satisfaction guarantee, therefore it is important that the consumer knows the requirements before ordering.
If unsatisfied or if the customer changes their mind as to their purchase, AVP does accept returns under the following conditions. Returns are only accepted with an authorization number issued by AVP. The product must be factory fresh, in the original box with all accessories. Because we can not resell products that have been used, only products which are unused and new may be returned. If the product has been used in any way it can not be returned. All authorized returns must be made within 30 days of the invoice or sales receipt date and must be shipped prepaid to:
All authorized returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the shipping charges to the customer are not subject to a refund. If you meet all of the above guidelines, you may request an authorization number by calling 845-565-7770 or clicking here and filling out the form. For your protection please insure returns for the full value of the original purchase price. AVP is not responsible for damage that occurred on the return shipment. Your adjusted refund amount will be processed within 10 business days of receipt of the products.
If you wish to cancel an order, you will need to do so within 2 hours of ordering Monday – Friday to insure the order does not ship. If you order on Saturday or Sunday, cancel before 10:30 am Monday morning. If the order is placed on a legal holiday then you must cancel on the next business day before 10:30 am. Please call 800-247-3463 or 845-565-7770 to cancel the order. If you do not reach a live person, please leave a message. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the refund policy (see above)
AVP offers approximately 25 colors so we cannot have inventory of all of our vents & fans in all colors. So we subcontract our powder coating on an as ordered basis. This requires a lead time of approximately 2 weeks. Additionally we do not accept returns for powder coated vents or fans.
When placing an order, please make sure your shipping address is correct. UPS and freight carriers charge us fees to correct incorrect shipping addresses. If the address we are given is proven to be incorrectly provided by the customer, we will pass that charge on to the customer.
When shipping to a construction site, please let us know so that the information can be supplied to the freight company. There is also an added charge for deliveries to construction sites.
Notification of 24 hours in advance of delivery is available for an additional fee.
