Roof Curb Cap - Roof Curb Cover - Model RC-Cap-7

The RC-Cap-7 is a Roof Curb Cap that fits onto a roof curb with a 10" OD or any of AVP's RC-7 Roof Curbs.

How the Roof Curb Cap works:

This Roof Curb Cap will fit over existing roof curbs with an outer diameter of 10 inches. The top of the cap is a solid sheet of aluminum that will protect the opening of the roof curb. It covers the top of the curb when there is no vent or fan installed. As a result, it keeps out precipitation and wildlife from entering the attic.

To install, place the roof curb cover over the roof curb. Make sure the cap is centered and then attach with self tapping sheet metal screws.

What is a Roof Curb?

A Roof Curb is a metal frame that acts as a base for mounting a roof vent or fan. As a result, this base will provide additional height allowing for installation in all climate zones. When a roof vent is not currently on the roof curb, the Cap will protect the opening from outside elements.

Building heavy wooden curbs can cause damage to the roofing membrane. Instead, eliminate the possibility of damage by buying AVP's prefabricated ones.
