Round Back Solar Fan | RBSF-8-C2 | 365 CFM

The 8 inch Round Back Solar Attic Fan is 8 inches in diameter and has a 2 inch tall collar. The model number is RBSF-8-C2 and exhausts air out at 365 CFM. The 8 inch solar round back fan comes with a standard 13” x 13” square flange.

Installation:

If installed 3 feet from the peak of the roof on a pitch of 3/12 or greater, this fan will be suitable in climate zones 1-4. However, if the installment is less than 18 inches from the peak on a roof pitch of 4/12 or greater, this vent is suitable for all climate zones.

The 8 inch Round Back Solar Fan is best on roofs with a 3/12 to 12/12 roof pitch.

How it works:

The 8 inch Round Back Solar Attic Fan uses both solar and wind to power the ventilator. This fan will exhaust air continuously even when there is no sun and when the motor is off.

It also works passively because of the Stack Effect. This occurs when the outdoor temperature is colder than the inside temperature. Hot air rises, so the warmer, indoor air rises upward to exit through the vent.

As a result, allowing air to freely flow in and out.
