PV-18-C2 is an 18 inch diameter roof vent with a 2 inch tall collar. To clarify, this vent has 2 inches of clearance between the base and the inner louvers. The vent has 254 inches of net free area (NFA) and comes with a 28\u201d x 28\u201d square flange.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Where to Install:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If installed on the upper portion of the roof, no more than 18 inches down from the peak, this attic vent can go on a roof with a pitch of 3\/12 or greater in all <a href=\"\/exhaust-vent-clearance-for-all-climates\/\">climate zones<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 18 inch Pop Vent roof louver is ideal for residential roof applications because of its low profile. It helps to keep <span style=\"color: #000000;\">insulation dry in the winter to prevent mold.<\/span> In addition, the round design is aerodynamic to withstand wind speeds in excess of 200 mph.<\/p>\n<p>This roof vent's lid is one solid piece of aluminum. Thus making this roof vent both durable and corrosion resistant.<\/p>\n<p>The inner louvers are 1\/8 inch wide allowing air to flow freely through the vent while preventing insects from entering.
