The model AF-6-C4 exhausts air out at <strong>120 CFM<\/strong>. All 6 inch gravity fans come with a standard 11\u2033 x 11\u2033 square flange.<\/p>\n<p>This fan is an attic exhaust fan. It has an all aluminum construction making it durable and long lasting.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Motor Type: Shaded Pole C \u2013 Frame<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>With 1\/55 horsepower and 120 CFM, this 6 inch attic fan is perfect for ventilating smaller attic spaces.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Installation<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<p>If installed on the upper portion of the roof, no more than 4 feet down from the peak, this fan\u00a0can go on a roof with a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/roofvents.com\/roof-pitch\/\">pitch of 3\/12 to 7\/12<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/roofvents.com\/exhaust-vent-clearance-for-all-climates\/\">climate zones 1-4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This attic fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. It will work passively because of the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers this creates an upward draft which allows air to freely flow in and out of the attic fan.<\/p>\n<p>This Attic Fan is also available with an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humidistat (THSOS).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How it works<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<p>The 6 inch attic fan will remove heat from the attic during the summer. In addition, it will also remove moisture during the winter.<\/p>\n<p>This movement of air is proportional to the wind speed and is measured in <u>cubic feet per minute (CFM)<\/u>.
