The model AF-10-C6 exhausts air out at <strong>500 CFM<\/strong>. All 10 inch gravity fans come with a standard 15\u2033 x 15\u2033 square flange.<\/p>\n<p>This fan is an attic exhaust fan. It has an all aluminum construction making it durable and long lasting.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Motor Type: Shaded Pole \u2013 Open Ventilation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>With 1\/20 horsepower and 500 CFM, this 10 inch attic fan is perfect for ventilating typical attic spaces.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Installation<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<p>A collar height of 6 inches is typically for low slope or flat roof ventilation. However, if installed on the upper portion of the roof, this attic fan can go on a <a href=\"https:\/\/roofvents.com\/roof-pitch\/\">0\/12 to 5\/12 pitch roof<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/roofvents.com\/exhaust-vent-clearance-for-all-climates\/\">climate zones 1-6<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Aura Gravity Fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. This attic fan works passively because of the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers this creates an upward draft which allows air to freely flow out.<\/p>\n<p>This Attic Fan is also available with an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humidistat (THSOS).<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How it works<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n<p>The 10 inch attic fan will remove heat from the attic during the summer. In addition, it will also remove moisture during the winter.<\/p>\n<p>This movement of air is proportional to the wind speed and is measured in <u>cubic feet per minute (CFM)<\/u>.
