AVP's <\/span><a style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400;\" href=\"\/roof-curbs-with-insulation\/\">prefabricated Roof Curbs<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; display: inline !important;\"> are for flat roof or low sloped roof applications.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Insulation is <em><strong>Johns Manville R-2.7, 0.5 inch thick foil faced polyiso board<\/strong><\/em>. Polyiso has the highest R-value per inch of any rigid board insulation. The Johns Manville insulation is double foiled to stop the build up of moisture. Instead, the foil repels water to prevent possible mold from forming.<\/p>\n<p>The flashing allows for fasteners to securely attach the curb to the roof. Once placed, it is to be covered with roofing material for a water-tight seal.<\/p>\n<p>Building heavy wooden curbs can cause damage to the roofing membrane. Instead, eliminate the possibility of damage by using AVP's prefabricated ones. This roof curb is aluminum alloy 3003-H14 with a 0.025\" thickness (\u00b1 0.005\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, AVP offers curbs in <a href=\"https:\/\/roofvents.com\/roof-curbs\/roof-curbs-6-inch-tall\/\">6 inches tall<\/a>, <a href=\"\/roof-curbs\/\">12 inches tall<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/roofvents.com\/roof-curbs\/roof-curbs-18-inch-tall\/\">18 inches tall<\/a><\/p>\n<h5><strong>What is a Roof Curb?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>A Roof Curb is a metal frame to act as a base for a roof vent or fan. As a result, this base will provide additional height allowing for installation in all climate zones. Proper installation ensures that the accessory has a level platform for attachment. They can also work as a hatch allowing for easy access to ductwork, HVAC units or maintenance in the attic below.<\/p>\n<p>The Curb Mounted Flange Vent Lines are ready to install on AVP's roof curbs.
