3 Inch Tubi Vent Cap for 3” PVC Schedule 40 & 80 Pipes | Model TVC-3-PVC

The 3 inch Tubi Vent Cap is designed for use with Schedule 40 and 80 3” PVC pipe. Suitable for both commercial and residential applications. This cap maintains airflow by preventing rain, snow, ice, debris from trees such as leaves and seeds as well as wildlife such as insects and bats from entering and nesting in the pipe.

Constructed from durable rust-free aluminum.

How It’s Constructed and Works

This PVC Vent Cap provides efficient ventilation for exhausting gases and vapors. It optimizes exhaust design by using louvers instead of screen, and is superior to using T-fittings or custom-made U-Bend fixture.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.

Once you have the area, the numbers shown below are the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.
