20-Inch Aura Attic Fan | Model AF-20-C6 | 3,300 CFM

The 20-inch Aura Attic Fan is 20 inches in diameter and has a 6-inch tall collar. The model number is AF-20-C6, which exhausts air out at 3,300 CFM. All 20-inch attic fans have a standard 26" x 26" square flange.

This is an attic exhaust fan. Its all-aluminum construction makes it durable and long-lasting.

Motor Type: Open Ventilation

With 3/4 horsepower and 3,300 CFM, this 20-inch attic fan is perfect for ventilating attic spaces or plenums.

This Attic Fan also has an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humidistat (THSOS).

Installation:

A collar height of 6 inches is typically used for low-slope or flat-roof ventilation. However, if installed on the upper portion of the roof, this attic fan can be used on a 0/12 to 5/12 pitch roof in climate zones 1-6.

20-inch diameter attic fans are commercial in size and should be used in commercial settings. For those looking to ventilate their homes, please view attic fans with a smaller diameter.

The Aura Gravity Fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. This attic fan works passively because of the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers, this creates an upward draft, allowing air to flow freely.

How it works:

The exhaust fan pulls air out of the attic at 3,300 cfm.

The 20-inch attic fan will remove heat from the attic during the summer and moisture during the winter.

Calculate number of Model  AF-20-C6  Vents Needed for a Given Area

Enter the Width and Length of the attic space you need to ventilate to calculate the area. You may also enter the area directly in the "Area" field. It is not necessary to hit the Return or Enter key (which will refresh this page), just enter numbers in the fields.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.

Once you have the area, the numbers shown below are the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.

*Please note
The roof vent calculation values shown above are for the exhaust portion of the roof. The same amount of net free air inches is needed for air intake as well. Proper roof ventilation consists of 50% air exhaust and 50% air intake.
