4-inch Aura Solar Attic Fan | Model ASF-4-C4 | 91 CFM
The 4-inch Aura Solar Attic Fan is 4 inches in diameter and has a 4-inch tall collar. The model ASF-4-C4 exhausts air at 91 CFM. All 4-inch solar attic fans have a standard 10" x 10" square flange.

Installation:
If installed no more than 2 feet from the roof's peak, this fan can be installed on a pitch of 3/12 to 7/12 in all climate zones. However, with modification, it can be installed on a 12/12 pitch in all climate zones.
The Aura Solar Fan is ideal for ventilating steep slope roofs. It will remove heat during the summer and moisture during the winter to provide ventilation all year. Keeping the attic dry during the winter will preserve attic insulation and prevent ice dams.
How it works:
The Aura Solar Fan uses direct sunlight to power its fan. The panel above needs bright, uninterrupted sunlight, preferably on a south-facing roof. Never point the solar panel in a northern direction, or it will not work.
The solar attic fan exhausts air continuously, even without the sun. It works passively due to the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers, this creates a vortex of air within the head, creating an upward draft that allows air to flow out of the vent.
The 1/8-inch louvers prevent rain, snow, insects, and animals from entering inside the fan.
