Roof Vent | 8 inch Keepa Attic Vent | Model KV-8

The Keepa Vent product line is ideal for flat roof ventilation. AVP offers an 8-inch diameter roof vent with an 11-inch tall collar. This roof vent has an NFA of 50 sq. inches and a standard 13” x 13” square flange.

Installation: Best on flat roofs, no more than 2/12 pitch

The 8-inch Keepa Attic Vent is for ventilating low-slope or flat roofs. It benefits both attics and/or plenums as it can be both an exhaust vent and an air intake vent. The removable vent head allows easy installation on EPDM, PVC, or TPO roofs. In addition, this roof vent is compatible with membrane roofs. Click here to view our installation guides.

How it operates:

The 8-inch Keepa Attic Vent removes moisture from the attic during the winter and heat during the summer, extending the life of the building structure. The 11-inch tall collar is suitable for all locations, including those that accumulate high snowfall. In addition, the round design is aerodynamic and can withstand wind speeds beyond 200 mph.

This roof vent is ideal for installation in all climate zones and comes in various sizes with an optional curb mount flange for covering roof curbs or a tailpipe adaptor for ventilating a duct.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.

Once you have the area, the numbers shown below are the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.
