The Aura Solar PVC Vent Cap is used for ventilating vapors and particles from a PVC pipe. This Vent Cap can be used for both commercial and residential applications. The model ASF-10-PVC fits over a 10 inch PVC pipe.
This Vent Cap uses both solar and wind power to ventilate PVC pipes. The solar panel only works in bright direct sunlight. However, the fan will still work passively by using the Venturi Effect. When wind blows against the outer louvers this creates an upward draft which allows air to freely flow in and out of the vent.
The 1/8 inch louvers are designed to prevent rain, snow, insects and animals from entering inside the fan.
