The 12 inch Vent Pipe Cap is the perfect solution for covering any metal piping that may extend through the roof. These Caps protect any plumbing system from precipitation, debris, and wildlife while allowing optimal airflow. They're engineered to ventilate flues, water heater systems, bathroom fans and range hoods.
These Pipe Caps have an all-aluminum construction. In addition, the round design is aerodynamic to withstand wind speeds up to 200 mph. However, these are for covering metal pipes only. They are not for ventilating wood-burning stoves or fireplaces because those applications require steel applications.
The VPC-12 is 12 inches in diameter and designed to fit over metal pipes of the same diameter. This allows for easy installation without damaging the roof. Therefore, they are ideal for protecting any metal piping that may extend through the roof.
