10-Inch Aura Attic Fan with Curb Mount Flange | AF-10-C8-CMF | 500 CFM

The 10-inch Aura Attic Fan with Curb Mount Flange is 10 inches in diameter and has an 8-inch tall collar. The model number is AF-10-C8-CMF, which exhausts air at 500 CFM. All 10-inch attic fans have a standard 13.5 x 13.5-inch curb mount flange.

Installation: For low slope or flat roof ventilation

The Aura Attic Fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. This attic fan works passively because of the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers, this creates an upward draft, which allows air to flow freely out of the attic. 

The curb mount flange allows for easy installation on roof curbs. In addition, the curbed flange can be used as a hatch to access the ductwork below. We recommend installation on roofs with a pitch of 2/12 or less.

10-inch Aura Attic Fans are compatible with AVP's 6-inch tall, 8-inch tall, and 12-inch tall roof curbs.

10-inch Aura Attic Fans are compatible with AVP's insulated 6-inch tall, 8-inch tall, and 12-inch tall roof curbs. 

Motor Type: Shaded Pole C – Frame

With 1/20 horsepower and 500 CFM, this 10-inch vent is perfect for ventilating attic spaces.

This Attic Fan also has an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humidistat (THSOS).

How it works:

The attic fan will still ventilate passively even when the motor is off. Even the slightest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air out of the fan.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.
