12-Inch Aura Attic Fan | Model AF-12-C12 | 800 CFM

The 12-inch Aura Attic Fan is 12 inches in diameter and has a 12-inch tall collar. The model AF-12-C12 exhausts air out at 800 CFM. All 12-inch attic fans have a standard 17" x 17" square flange.

This fan is an attic exhaust fan. It's all aluminum construction, making it durable and long-lasting.

Motor Type: Shaded Pole – Open Ventilation

With 1/10 horsepower and 800 CFM, this 12-inch attic fan is perfect for ventilating typical attic spaces.

This Attic Fan also has an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humidistat (THSOS).

Installation:

A collar height of 12 inches is typically used for low-slope or flat-roof ventilation. However, if installed on the upper portion of the roof, this attic fan can be used on a 0/12 to 5/12 pitch roof in all climate zones.

The Aura Gravity Fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. This attic fan works passively because of the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers, this creates an upward draft, which allows air to flow freely out.

How it works:

The exhaust fan pulls air out of the attic at 800 cfm.

The 12-inch attic fan will remove heat from the attic during the summer and moisture during the winter.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.

Once you have the area, the numbers shown below are the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.
