The 12-inch Aura Attic Fan with Curb Mount Flange is 12 inches in diameter and has a 6-inch tall collar. The model number is AF-12-C6-CMF, which exhausts air at 800 CFM. All 12-inch attic fans have a standard 15.5 x 15.5-inch curb mount flange.

Installation: For low slope or flat roof ventilation

The Aura Attic Fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. This attic fan works passively because of the Venturi Effect. The wind blows against the outer louvers, creating an upward draft, allowing air to flow freely from the attic. 

12-inch Aura Attic Fans are compatible with AVP's 6-inch tall, 8-inch tall, 12-inch tall, and 18-inch tall roof curbs.

12-inch Aura Attic Fans are compatible with AVP's insulated 6-inch tall, 8-inch tall, 12-inch tall, and 18-inch tall roof curbs. 

Motor Type:  Open Ventilation

With 1/10 horsepower and 800 CFM, this 12-inch vent is perfect for ventilating attic spaces.

This Attic Fan also has an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humiditystat (THSOS).

How it works:

The attic fan will still ventilate passively even when the motor is off. In other words, even the slightest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air out of the fan.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.

Once you have the area, the numbers shown below are the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.
