The 30-inch Aura Attic Fan with Curb Mount Flange is 30 inches in diameter and has a 6-inch tall collar. Its model number is AF-30-C6-CMF, which exhausts air at 8,000 CFM. All 30-inch attic fans come with a standard 34 x 34-inch curb mount flange.

Installation: For low slope or flat roof ventilation

The Aura Attic Fan exhausts air continuously even when the motor is off. This attic fan works passively because of the Venturi Effect. The wind blows against the outer louvers, creating an upward draft that allows air to flow freely out of the vent. 

The curb mount flange allows for easy installation on roof curbs. In addition, the curbed flange can be used as a hatch to access the ductwork below. We recommend installation on roofs with a pitch of 2/12 or less.

30-inch Aura Attic Fans are compatible with AVP's 8-inch tall, 12-inch tall, and 18-inch tall roof curbs.

30-inch Aura Attic Fans are compatible with AVP's insulated 8-inch tall, 12-inch tall, and 18-inch tall roof curbs. 

Motor Type:  PSC – Open Ventilation

With 1 horsepower and 8,000 CFM, this 30-inch vent is perfect for ventilating large attic spaces or plenums.

This Attic Fan also has an optional Shut-Off Switch, Thermostat, and Humidistat (THSOS).

How it works:

The attic fan will still ventilate passively even when the motor is off. Even the slightest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air out of the attic.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.
