10 inch Aura PVC Pipe Cap | Model AV-10-PVC

The 10 inch Aura PVC Pipe Cap is for ventilating vapors and particles from a PVC pipe. This Vent Cap is ideal for both commercial and residential applications. These Caps protect 10 inch PVC piping from precipitation, debris and wildlife while allowing optimal airflow.

These Pipe Caps have an all-aluminum construction. In addition, the round design is aerodynamic to withstand wind speeds up to 200 mph.

Installation:

The AV-10-PVC is 10 inches in diameter and designed to fit over 10 inch PVC pipes. This allows for easy installation without damaging the roof. The vent is engineered to work passively by using the Venturi Effect. When the wind blows against the outer louvers this creates an upward draft which allows air to freely flow in and out of the roof vent.

The 1/8 inch louvers are designed to prevent rain, snow, insects and animals from entering inside the roof vent.

How it works:

The Aura PVC Vent Cap is an excellent choice for exhausting gases and vapors. For radon exhaust systems, the Aura PVC Vent Cap will optimize the CFM for the in-line fans. As a result, this eliminates backpressure caused by using T-fittings or two 90 degree elbow fittings

Even the smallest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air out of the gravity vent. In addition, the round design is aerodynamic to withstand wind speeds up to 200 mph.
