The 14-inch Aura Gravity Roof Ventilator with Curb Mount Flange is 14 inches in diameter and has a 4-inch tall collar. The model AV-14-C4-CMF has 144 inches of Net Free Area (NFA). All 14-inch gravity roof ventilators have a standard 18" x 18" square curb mount flange.

Installation: On a roof curb
This roof vent has a curb mount flange, which allows easy installation on AVP's prefabricated roof curbs or any other roof curb as long as the dimensions are 17 7/8 inches x 17 7/8 inches and square in shape. If the curb is to be covered in roofing material, then the curb should measure 17 1/2 inches x 17 1/2 inches.
The 14-inch Aura Gravity Roof Vents with curb mount flange are compatible with AVP's roof curbs in heights 6-inch- 8-inch- 12-inch- and 18-inch tall roof curbs.
The 14-inch Aura Gravity Roof Vents with curb mount flange are compatible with AVP's insulated roof curbs in heights 6-inch- 8-inch- 12-inch- and 18-inch tall roof curbs.
How it Operates:
The Aura Gravity Roof Ventilator works like a roof turbine with no moving parts.
Aura Gravity Roof Vents rely on the Venturi Effect, which is when the wind blows against the outer louvers to create an upward draft. As a result, air is forced to flow out of the vent, removing heat from the attic in the summer and moisture in the winter. This allows for year-round ventilation on low-slope or flat roofs.
Even the slightest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air from the gravity roof vent. Therefore, wind speeds of 11 mph for a 14-inch Gravity Ventilator produce 360 CFM of air exhaust for attic ventilation.
Aura Gravity Roof Vents are UL-listed and rated up to 50+ PSF or wind pressure above 200 MPH. They are certified by the Texas Department of Insurance and Florida State Approved.
