How it Operates:
The Aura Gravity Ventilator works like a roof turbine with no moving parts.
Aura vents rely on the Venturi Effect, which occurs when the wind blows against the outer louvers to create an upward draft. As a result, air is forced to flow out of the vent, removing heat from the attic in the summer and moisture in the winter. This allows for year-round ventilation on low-slope or flat roofs.
Even the slightest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air out of the gravity vent. Therefore, wind speeds of 11 mph for a 24-inch Gravity Ventilator produce 1,128 CFM of air exhaust.
Aura Gravity Vents are UL-listed and rated up to 50+ PSF or wind pressure above 200 MPH. They are certified by the Texas Department of Insurance and Florida State Approved.
