Air Exhaust Roof Louver | Pop Vent | PV-16-C2
The 16-inch Pop Vent Roof Louver is for ventilating steep-slope roofs. PV-16-C2 is a 16-inch diameter roof vent with a 2-inch tall collar. This vent has 2 inches of clearance between the base and the inner louvers. It has 200 inches of net free area (NFA) and a 24” x 24” square flange.
Where to Install:
If installed on the upper portion of the roof, no more than 3 feet down from the peak, this attic vent can go on a roof with a pitch of 3/12 or greater in all climate zones.
Because of its low profile, the 16-inch Pop Vent roof louver is ideal for a pitched roof. It can also be painted to match the color of the asphalt shingles.
To determine the number of vents you may need, see our Vent Calculator.
How it works:
The Air Exhaust Roof Louver removes moisture in the winter and heat in the summer to extend the life of the building structure. It helps to keep insulation dry in the winter to prevent mold. In addition, the round design is aerodynamic to withstand wind speeds over 200 mph.
This roof vent's lid is made of one solid piece of aluminum, making it durable and corrosion-resistant.
The inner louvers are 1/8 inch wide, allowing air to flow freely through the vent while preventing insects from entering. The inner louvers meet the requirements of the California building code and work better than insect screens.

Pop Vents are UL-listed and rated up to 50+ PSF or wind pressure above 200 MPH. They are certified by the Texas Department of Insurance, & Florida State Approved.
