The 18-inch Aura Gravity Roof Ventilator with Curb Mount Flange is 18 inches in diameter and has a 6-inch tall collar. The model AV-18-C6-CMF has 254 inches of Net Free Area (NFA). All 18-inch gravity ventilators have a standard 22" x 22" square curb mount flange.

Installation: On a roof curb
This roof vent has a curb mount flange, which allows easy installation on AVP's prefabricated roof curbs or any other roof curb as long as the dimensions are 21 7/8 inches x 21 7/8 inches and square in shape. If the curb is to be covered in roofing material, then the curb should measure 21 1/2 inches x 21 1/2 inches.
The 18-inch Aura Gravity Roof Vents with curb mount flange are compatible with AVP's roof curbs in heights 6-inch- 8-inch- 12-inch- and 18-inch tall roof curbs.
The 18-inch Aura Gravity Roof Vents with curb mount flange are compatible with AVP's insulated roof curbs in heights 6-inch- 8-inch- 12-inch- and 18-inch tall roof curbs.
How it Operates:
The Aura Gravity Roof Ventilator works like a roof turbine with no moving parts.
Aura vents rely on the Venturi Effect, which is when the wind blows against the outer louvers to create an upward draft. As a result, air is forced to flow out of the vent, removing heat from the attic in the summer and moisture in the winter. This allows for year-round ventilation on low-slope or flat roofs.
Even the slightest breeze can create exhaust ventilation to draw air from the gravity roof vent. Therefore, wind speeds of 11 mph for an 18-inch Gravity Roof Ventilator produce 634 CFM of air exhaust for attic ventilation.
Aura Gravity Roof Vents are UL-listed, rated up to 50+ PSF or wind pressure above 200 MPH, and certified by the Texas Department of Insurance and Florida State Approved.
