20-inch Intake Roof Vent with Curb Mount Flange | Pop Vent Model PV-20-C12-CMF

The 20-inch Pop Vent Air Intake Vent with Curb Mount Flange is ideal for maintaining proper rooftop ventilation. The PV-20-C12-CMF is 20 inches in diameter with a 12-inch tall collar. In other words, this vent has 12 inches of clearance between the base and the inner louvers.

In addition, the 20-inch intake roof vent has 314 inches of Net Free Area (NFA) and a standard 24” x 24” curb mount flange.

Benefits:

  • Keeps your home comfortable and energy-efficient
  • Inner louvers prevent insects and animals from entering the vent
  • Round aerodynamic design can withstand harsh weather
  • Vent head is removable for easy installation
  • Noiseless – does not require electricity to exhaust air

Installation: Ideal for low slope or flat roofs

20-inch diameter roof vents are commercial size, so they are ideal for commercial settings. For those looking to ventilate their homes, please view roof vents with a smaller diameter.

Because of the Curb Mount Flange, this vent can be used as a hatch to access the ductwork or attic below without damaging the roof. To determine the number of vents you may need for proper attic ventilation, see the Vent Calculator.

This roof vent has a curb mount flange, allowing easy installation on AVP's prefabricated roof curbs. The flange will fit over roof curbs or an existing base with a 23-inch diameter.

20-inch air intake roof vents are compatible with AVP's 6-inch tall12-inch tall, and 18- inch tall roof curbs.

How it works:

The Air Intake Roof Louver provides fresh air into the attic or plenum. Heat and moisture can cause the structure to decay without proper rooftop ventilation. This roof vent also helps keep insulation dry in the winter to prevent mold growth.

The round design is also aerodynamic and can withstand wind speeds beyond 200 mph. The 20-inch Pop Vent can be painted to match the color of the roof.

Calculate number of Model  PV-20-C12-CMF  Vents Needed for a Given Area

Enter the Width and Length of the attic space you need to ventilate to calculate the area. You may also enter the area directly in the "Area" field. It is not necessary to hit the Return or Enter key (which will refresh this page), just enter numbers in the fields.

If you know it, you may enter the area directly here

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.

Once you have the area, the numbers shown below are the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.

*Please note
The roof vent calculation values shown above are for the exhaust portion of the roof. The same amount of net free air inches is needed for air intake as well. Proper roof ventilation consists of 50% air exhaust and 50% air intake.
