Insulated Roof Curb 12" Square x 6" High | R-Value 2.7 | SRC-9-H6-Ins
This insulated roof curb has a 12" square OD that will fit a vent or fan with a 12.5-inch OD or AVP's 9-inch vents or fans that have a curb mount flange. AVP's prefabricated Roof Curbs are for flat roof or low-slope roof applications.
The insulation is Johns Manville R-2.7, 0.5-inch-thick, foil-faced Polyiso board. Polyiso has the highest R-value per inch of any rigid board insulation. This insulation meets both CFC- and HCFC-free specification requirements.
Additionally, it's produced with an EPA-compliant hydrocarbon-based blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and virtually no Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Insulated roof curbs provide an additional layer of protection from external weather conditions. The Johns Manville insulation is double-foiled to prevent the buildup of moisture. Instead, the foil repels water to prevent possible mold from forming.
The flashing allows for fasteners to securely attach the curb to the roof. Once placed, it must be covered with roofing material to ensure a watertight seal.
Building heavy wooden curbs can cause damage to the roofing membrane. Instead, eliminate the possibility of damage by using AVP's prefabricated ones. This roof curb is aluminum alloy 3003-H14 with a 0.025" thickness (± 0.005”).
In addition, AVP offers curbs in 6-inch, 12-inch, and 18-inch tall.
What is a Roof Curb?
A Roof Curb is a metal frame that acts as a base for a roof vent or fan. As a result, this base will provide additional height, allowing for installation in all climate zones. Proper installation ensures that the accessory has a level platform for attachment. They can also work as a hatch, allowing easy access to ductwork, HVAC units, or maintenance in the attic below.
The Curb-Mounted Flange Vent Lines are ready to install on AVP's roof curbs. This includes Aura Vent, Pop Vents, and Round Back Vents. In addition to Attic Fans and Aura Solar Fans for powered ventilation.
