Our Air Intake Pop Vents provide outdoor air directly into fresh air ducts, attics or buildings.
In order to exhaust air, you need intake air. Our line of intake pop vents allow your exhaust vents to work efficiently, by bringing in fresh air as your exhaust releases the hot air. All aluminum construction, these intake roof vents are maintenance free and will not rust. UL certified and tested to withstand wind pressure speeds up to 200 mph.
Unlike the turbine vent, which is open to the sky and allows rain water to enter, our Pop Vent is manufactured with vertical louvers that prevent rain and snow from entering. The slotted louvers do not allow insects to build up or collect like an insect screen. It keeps the Pop Vent clean to allow maximum fresh air supply without resistance. Used for commercial and residential applications and available in several diameter sizes. The attached vent head is removable when needed to allow for inspections or duct maintenance. A powder coating paint option is available to match any building material.

The diameter size of all roof vents determines the Net Free Area, also known as the "NFA". NFA is the measured amount of opening each vent offers at each specific size. to be available for venting air through a specific vent size. The calculator below will find the overall number of vents needed to effectively ventilate the targeted attic space.
Once you have the area, pulldown to select the specific vent diameter to show the number of vents of that size which would ventilate the specified area with both 1/300 and 1/150 rule.
The roof vent calculation values shown above are for the exhaust portion of the roof. The same amount of net free air inches is needed for air intake as well. Proper roof ventilation consists of 50% air exhaust and 50% air intake.
