Insulated Roof Curb 10" Square x 6" High | R-Value 2.7 | SRC-7-H6-Ins
This insulated roof curb has a 10" square shape that will fit a vent or fan with a 10.5-inch curb mount flange. AVP's prefabricated Roof Curbs are for flat roof or low-slope roof applications.
The insulation is Johns Manville R-2.7, 0.5-inch-thick, foil-faced polyiso board. Polyiso has the highest R-value per inch of any rigid board insulation. This insulation meets both CFC- and HCFC-free specification requirements.
Additionally, it's produced with an EPA-compliant hydrocarbon-based blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and virtually no Global Warming Potential (GWP).

Insulated roof curbs provide an extra layer of protection from the outside weather. The Johns Manville insulation is double-foiled to stop the buildup of moisture. Instead, the foil repels water to prevent possible mold from forming.
The flashing allows for fasteners to securely attach the curb to the roof. Once placed, it must be covered with roofing material to ensure a watertight seal.
Building heavy wooden curbs can cause damage to the roofing membrane. Instead, eliminate the possibility of damage by using AVP's prefabricated aluminum ones. The roof curb is made of 3003-H14 alloy with a thickness of 0.025" (± 0.005”).
Additionally, AVP offers curbs in 6-inch, 12-inch, and 18-inch heights.
What is a Roof Curb?
A Roof Curb is a metal box that acts as a base for a roof vent or fan. Proper installation ensures that the accessory has a level platform for attachment. Roof curbs can also serve as a hatch, providing easy access to ductwork, HVAC units, or attic maintenance.
The Curb-Mounted Flange Vent Lines are ready to install on AVP's roof curbs. This includes Aura Vent, Pop Vents, and Round Back Vents—as well as Attic Fans and Aura Solar Fans for powered ventilation.
