The 20 inch Aura Solar Retrofit Fan is 20 inches in diameter. The model number is ASF-20-RF and exhausts air out as a replacement fan. The Retrofit is designed to fit over an existing base as a replacement fan.
Aura Solar Fans are a perfect replacement fan for Roof Wind Turbines which frequently stop working because of corrosion. The Aura Solar Gravity Retrofit does not need to spin in order to provide excellent ventilation. Instead, it exhausts heat using both solar and wind power.
It also works passively by using the Venturi Effect which happens when the wind blows against the outer louvers. As a result, this creates an upward draft allowing air to freely flow in and out of the vent.
The vertical louvers continually exhaust air while preventing rain and snow from entering. The vertical louvers also keep out insects and animals allowing for optimal airflow. In addition, the round design is aerodynamic to withstand wind speeds up to 200 mph.
The Aura Solar removes hot air in the summer and moisture from the attic in the winter to provide optimal ventilation. The Retrofit Vent head will fit over an existing base of the same diameter. This allows for quick and easy installation. The ideal replacement fan.
