The following is our recommendation for the proper placement of the Pop Vent if installed between the metal ribs.
The Vent should be placed approx. 12” to 24” from bottom of roof.
On homes that require 2 Pop Vents, they should be placed approx. 1/4 of the total length in from each end. As an example, on an 80' home the vents would be placed approx. 20' in from each end.
On homes that require 3 Pop Vents, one vent should be in the center and the other 2 approx. 1/6 in from each end. As an example, on an 80' home 2 vents would be placed approx. 13' in from each end, and one would be in the center.
On homes that require 4 Pop Vents, 2 vents should be placed approx. 1/8 in from each end and 2 vents should be placed approx. 3/8 in from each end. As an example, on an 80' home 2 vents would be placed approx. 10' in from each end and 2 vents would be placed 30' in from each end.
